1047 Games announced that EMPULSE, its new Titanfall-inspired shooter, will launch in early access next Wednesday, June 24th. Unlike many modern titles, this is a paid early access release (not free-to-play) and will arrive on both Xbox and PC.
According to Pure Xbox, the game supports Xbox Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning players who purchase on Xbox will get automatic access to the PC version and vice versa. The launch comes as part of a larger week of releases on the platform.
EMPULSE is developed by the same studio behind Splitgate, a title that also offered a fresh take on the shooter genre. The game arrives at a time when Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall franchise remains without new announcements.
