It's official: Deltarune Chapter 5 is now live on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. According to Nintendo Life, the release rolled out as announced during this month's Nintendo Direct.
The chapter introduces new locations such as the Flower Castle, fresh characters including Yellow and a secret boss named Pink, plus the Weird Route, an alternate story path for players who completed special routes in prior chapters. The Weird Route lets you reload saves from Chapter 2 onward and leads to an alternate ending called the Weird Ending or Chapter 7 Side B.
Nintendo Life noted a technical crash issue at launch, though a hotfix was submitted to consoles. The chapter features exploration mechanics, Pink Coin collectibles (required to face the secret boss), and special Café Break interactions unlocked by progressing through the main story.
