Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 receives official E10+ rating

The age rating for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 has received official publication on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). The title received an E10+ rating, appropriate for players 10 and older.

According to Nintendo Life, the game contains "fantasy violence" and "animated blood" as content descriptors. The information had been spotted in July on Nintendo's official store page, but now appears formally in the ESRB's ratings database.

The remake launches on Switch 2 on November 5, 2024, bringing the classic 1998 adventure reimagined for Nintendo's new hardware.
