Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the upcoming tag-team fighting game co-developed by PlayStation and Arc System Works with an August 2026 launch window, is blocked from purchase in 132 countries via Steam. The geographic restriction covers nations including Afghanistan, Haiti, Serbia, Zimbabwe, Egypt, and others.
According to SteamDB information, the block appears tied to the game's PSN account linking requirement. PlayStation Network is not available in any of the 132 blocked countries, preventing players in those regions from accessing the game even on PC.
This marks the second similar episode involving Sony and regional restrictions on PC. Helldivers 2 faced identical issues after launch, as did titles like God of War Ragnarök, Spider-Man 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us 2 Remastered. Following community backlash, Sony removed most of these restrictions, with Until Dawn remaining blocked. Marvel Tōkon has not received the same treatment so far.
