Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy launches August 27 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Game Pass, according to Xbox Wire. The game is a spin-off that reinvents the franchise by moving backward in the series timeline compared to previous Plague Tale titles.
Unlike earlier Plague Tale games, which emphasized stealth and evasion, Resonance pivots toward direct combat gameplay. The team behind the title, featured on the Official XBOX Podcast, designed it to fit naturally into the Plague Tale universe while presenting an entirely different approach.
