New studio launches A220 airliner for Flight Simulator

Synaptic Simulations, a small studio made up of young developers just a few years out of high school, launched its first commercial product on the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 marketplace this week: the A220 Airliner. According to Xbox Wire, the module is now available on the platform.

The A220 is one of the newest and most modern jet airliners in operation worldwide, and its arrival in the game had been highly anticipated by aviation enthusiasts. The module was developed in partnership with iniBuilds, a studio specializing in simulation add-ons.

Synaptic Simulations emerged from the freeware modding scene and turned that passion into a professional product. For a debut, the technical complexity of the A220 is considered impressive by the flight simulator community.

Microsoft praised the launch as "an inspiring story" of young talent pursuing their dreams within the Flight Simulator ecosystem.
