Capcom has announced a permanent price reduction for Monster Hunter Wilds effective August 4, 2026. According to IGN, the base game, currently priced at $69.99 (£64,99), will see its price lowered, though the exact new price has not yet been revealed.
Alongside the price cut, the publisher will discontinue three current bundles: the Deluxe Edition ($89,99), Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99), and Cosmetic DLC Pass ($49.99). As reported by Siliconera, these editions will no longer be available for purchase starting August 3 at 8pm ET.
Capcom is replacing them with three new bundles: Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection, and Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack. Pricing for the new offerings has not been disclosed by the publisher.
Permanent price reductions are uncommon in the current market, a period marked by consistent price increases across both games and hardware.
