Argonaut Games has announced a remaster of Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos heading to PS5, PS4 and Switch by the end of 2026. According to Push Square, the release restores the game's original subtitle, which was altered from the 1999 release.
The sequel follows the successful remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, which launched on the same platforms the previous year. The team had indicated that bringing back the sequel would be a logical step if the first remaster performed well at launch.
The 1999 platformer classic is coming to digital storefronts on modern hardware. The remaster aims to bring the original experience to current consoles while expanding the franchise's reach across contemporary platforms.
