Scramble Knights Online launches on Xbox Game Pass

Scramble Knights Online, a new action RPG "MMO-Lite" from Funktronic Labs, has launched today on Xbox Game Pass, according to an official announcement on Xbox Wire.

The game was built to capture the nostalgia of early online multiplayer, emphasizing adventuring with friends in a more accessible take on traditional MMOs.

Notably, Scramble Knights Online was not always an MMO: it started as a battle royale PvP game before changing direction. The genre shift was part of the studio's strategy to save the project.

The title is available now on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's subscription service offering hundreds of games for a monthly fee.
