Don't Starve Together has achieved a new all-time peak in concurrent players on Steam, according to SteamDB data. The milestone comes a full decade after the survival and crafting game's release, establishing itself as a genre classic.
The spike was fueled by a steep discount, with Valve's platform offering the title for less than two dollars. The last time the game reached comparable numbers was in 2023, also during a significant sale, when it jumped from around 50,000 to approximately 100,000 concurrent players.
Developed by Canadian studio Klei Entertainment, Don't Starve Together expanded on the original Don't Starve formula by bringing the survival experience to cooperative multiplayer. The title has become a reference point in its niche, maintaining an active community and receiving continuous updates over the years.
