Revealed during State of Play, Jin Sakai is now confirmed as one of four playable characters in Most Wanted, Ghost of Yōtei's new roguelike mode. According to the PlayStation Blog, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima returns with all four of his signature stances intact.
Most Wanted is a "combat survival mode" centered almost entirely on action gameplay. The four playable samurai, including Jin, are joined by Yōtei characters Atsu and Oyuki, plus a newcomer named Nagato. Each offers unique fighting styles and perks. Players hunt members of the Yōtei Six, earning coins from defeated enemies to upgrade characters for subsequent runs.
The mode launches on PlayStation 5 on October 1st as part of Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition, which also includes the story expansion Echoes of Sekigahara, advancing Atsu's narrative with a new area.
