Capcom has officially confirmed that Pragmata, its new sci-fi action game, will receive crossover costumes inspired by Mega Man. The announcement follows an April Fools joke earlier in 2026 when fans had theorized the game was secretly a Mega Man title.
The confirmation accompanied a new gameplay trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override unveiled at Gamescom 2026. According to Nintendo Life, the trailer revealed Proto Man's official arrival in the game alongside detailed gameplay footage. The new Mega Man entry introduces fresh mechanics such as hovering and phasing through enemies, plus new costumes and Custom Chips that alter how the game plays.
The trailer also showcased the Twinkle Girl boss and various stages, displaying a blend of classic Mega Man with Mega Man X influences, including the dash move signature to the MMX series. Mega Man: Dual Override is scheduled to release on Switch, Switch 2, PS4, and PS5 in 2027.
Mega Man skins for Pragmata will arrive in 2026, while Mega Man: Dual Override continues development toward its 2027 launch.
