Fading Echo, an elemental action-adventure RPG developed by Emeteria, a New Tales studio, launched today on PlayStation 5. The game puts players in control of One, a young Legend fighting to save Corel, a fractured world consumed by a mysterious force known as the Paradox.
Gameplay revolves around experimenting with One's abilities to manipulate elements and shift between realities, uncovering new paths through combat, exploration, and puzzles. Water, or Æther as it's called in Fading Echo's world, sits at the core of the protagonist's powers, enabling transformations and attacks against enemies.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Emeteria described Fading Echo as a fast-paced game centered on experimentation and elemental manipulation to progress.
