NCSoft disclosed the technical requirements for Cinder City, the new third-person shooter with RPG elements that has garnered attention since its 2025 announcement. According to the Steam page, the title demands 32 GB of RAM as the minimum requirement and 64 GB as recommended, a figure that stands out even among modern AAA titles with cutting-edge graphics.
The game, formerly known as Project LLL, is developed by Big Fire Games, a studio under NCSoft (the South Korean company known for its MMORPGs). It's a cinematic open-world shooter set in a fallen near-future Seoul, featuring elaborate maps that allow players to explore and interact with highly detailed environments.
As noted by PC Gamer, the memory specifications far exceed the standard for recent blockbuster releases, suggesting the title was built with substantial data held in RAM. Still, NCSoft claims there is compatibility across a variety of hardware setups, offering graphical scalability for different PC configurations.
Cinder City remains in development for PC, with further details on launch timing to be revealed.
