HoYoverse confirmed details for Honkai: Star Rail version 4.4 during a recent livestream. The update goes live on July 15, 2026, with a continuation of the Planarcadia Trailblaze Mission storyline that also explores Himiko's backstory. Her five-star alt variant, a Fire element Erudition user, will release on the same day as the patch.
The rerun banner for the period features alternate versions of Dan Heng (Permansor Terrae), March 7th (Evernight), and Sparkle (Sparxie). On July 24, the Fate/stay Night crossover returns with event continuation and five-star banners for Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh. The crossover banners will remain available until version 4.6, arriving later in 2026.
The livestream also distributed codes offering free Stellar Jade and upgrade materials, part of HoYoverse's standard practice for announcing new content to players.
