The Resident Evil Veronica remake has officially appeared on the Xbox Store, as reported by Pure Xbox. Until now, only PC and PS5 players could wishlist the game. With the listing now live on Microsoft's platform, the remake has surpassed 1 million combined wishlists across all platforms, demonstrating strong community interest.
The remake was unveiled during Summer Game Fest 2026, bringing back Claire Redfield as the protagonist. Unlike the 1999 original, which featured a first-person perspective, Capcom has confirmed this remake adopts a third-person camera throughout. The game will also include narrative adjustments to better fit the series' established timeline.
Beyond the Xbox Store listing, rumors suggest Resident Evil Veronica could receive new information reveals at Gamescom 2026, according to the RENews profile on X (formerly Twitter).
