Palworld launches from early access with 72 new Pals and redesigns

Palworld officially launched its 1.0 version on July 10th, exiting early access after two years of active development. According to Polygon and other sources, the update delivers massive content: 47 entirely new Pals and 25 variants of existing creatures, expanding the game's total roster.

The patch notes are enormous. Pocketpair raised the maximum Pal level to 85, rebalanced combat mechanics, and overhauled both the story and world design across the board. The studio also redesigned several existing Pals. As reported by GamesRadar, some of these visual changes were apparently made to modernize creature designs and, according to players, create distance between similar Pokémon comparisons that sparked debate in the past.

The game maintains its early access launch price point. Palworld has accumulated 40 million copies sold despite facing lawsuits from Nintendo and criticism over Pokémon resemblances. The title is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, establishing itself as one of the most commercially successful releases in recent years.
