The Nintendo Switch 2 port of 007 First Light has been delayed again. According to IO Interactive, the game now arrives in March 2027, moving away from the previous summer 2026 target date.
The announcement came from the Hitman developer through the game's official social media account. As reported by Nintendo Life, the delay aims to help with "polishing the performance of the game," giving the team more time to optimize the handheld version.
This marks the second delay for the Switch 2 release. In April, IO Interactive had already pushed back the summer 2026 launch to fall of that year. With this latest setback, the wait extends several more months.
007 First Light has been available since May 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. An exact release date for the Switch 2 version has not been confirmed, though it should be revealed closer to launch.
