Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has reached 3.5 million units sold within its first 14 days, according to Ubisoft. Per the company's financial report, the game "exceeded annual expectations" in that window.
The remake started strong from launch. According to Eurogamer, it hit 2 million copies in its opening days, climbed to 3 million within a week, and now sits at 3.5 million. The sales velocity surprised even Ubisoft itself: CEO Yves Guillemot called the launch an "encouraging proof point" of the company's new corporate structure.
Ubisoft expects to recoup development costs within this fiscal quarter. According to GamesRadar, the game also posted "historical" PC performance, signaling strong platform reception for the title.
The remake's success from Vantage Studios stands in contrast to broader challenges Ubisoft faced in 2026, which included studio restructuring and layoffs. For the publisher, Black Flag Resynced represents a positive signal amid organizational changes.
