The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered is now available on 29th September 2026 across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. According to Nintendo Life, CD Projekt Red has delivered the upgraded version with remastered visuals and complete DLC content for the RPG, including future expansions.
Download sizes differ by platform. Push Square confirms the update for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is 45GB each, with PC receiving the same size. Nintendo Switch 2 requires a slightly larger 50GB download.
For players who already own the original Switch version, an important distinction applies: unlike PlayStation and Xbox where the remaster is an automatic upgrade to the Complete Edition, Switch 2 users must download the game as a completely separate product, as Nintendo Life reports.
The remaster marks The Witcher 3's return to handheld platforms, three years after its original Switch debut in 2023. The Switch 2 remastered edition represents the most visually polished version of the 2015 title to date.
