During the closing ceremonies of the Pokémon North America International Championships (NAIC), The Pokémon Company revealed new promo cards for the Pokémon World Championships 2026 and the PokémonXP program, along with competitors' welcome kits and Champion line items, according to IGN.
Among the announced cards is the Paradise Resort 2026, which will be included in participants' welcome kits. The card features a gold World Championships 2026 stamp and showcases Pikachu, Sylveon, Archaludon, Klawf, and other Pokémon in its design.
The bigger announcement also came from the closing ceremony: the NAIC will leave New Orleans, Louisiana, where it has operated for the past three years, and relocate to McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, in 2027. According to Chris Brown, Director of Global Esports and Events Producer at The Pokémon Company, the move reflects the event's continued growth. "It's a world class city," Brown said.
