Mario Kart World just got its first major content update focused on new tracks, rolling out today. According to Nintendo Life and GamesRadar, the update adds 10 classic circuits from Super Mario Kart to the game's VS Race mode.
The tracks include iconic SNES courses such as Choco Island 1, Choco Island 2, Vanilla Lake, and Ghost Valley, among others. The update also includes a nostalgic touch: the ? blocks from the original game now appear on tracks and can be driven over to earn items during races.
The update is free, arriving as Mario Kart World continues to grow. As reported by TheGamer, the game has now reached 14.7 million units sold since its launch on Nintendo Switch 2, following a strong debut that saw 5.6 million copies sold in the first month at a 96% attach rate.
