It's official: Nintendo slashed the price of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom during Amazon Prime Day (June 23-26). According to IGN, both the original Nintendo Switch version and the Switch 2 Edition received a $20 discount, bringing the game down to around $40 for physical and digital copies.
This marks a rare move for Nintendo, which typically keeps its flagship titles at full price for years after launch. The Switch 2 Edition includes performance improvements and the Zelda Notes feature, though the copy runs on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
