Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave launched on Switch 2 last week, and Digital Foundry has now released its technical performance analysis of Intelligent Systems' new tactical RPG.
According to the analysis, the title runs at 30fps with a locked frame rate and no drops. While this falls short of other first-party Switch 2 launches (such as Mario Kart World at 60fps), it represents an improvement over the previous Fire Emblem Engage.
The game offers a massive scope with five different protagonists (Cai, Leda, Deitrich, Theodora, and Eshmel) and hundreds of hours of content for players wanting to see everything. Critical reception has been extremely positive, with a Metascore of 89 at launch.
Given the exceptional size of the title, even platforms like How Long To Beat are struggling to gather reliable data on completion times so far. The few reports available indicate between 74 and 99 hours for the main campaign plus selected side content.
