Slay the Spire 2 gets 15 new cards and fixes modding issues

Slay the Spire 2 received a substantial update on Steam's beta branch featuring new cards and fixes relevant to both solo and multiplayer modes. According to Mega Crit, the patch introduces 15 new cards spread across the game's five classes: one colorless card, two for the Regent, and three each for Silent, Ironclad, Defective, and Watcher. These cards were specifically designed to enhance cooperative gameplay. Several existing cards were also rebalanced as part of the update. The patch also adds a randomizer option and brings visual improvements to the boss Aeonglass. The most significant change addresses the modding system. Previously, enabling mods for the first time made it appear that player progress had been erased, as modified saves were stored separately from unmodded ones as a safety measure. The developer has now implemented automatic copying of unmodded saves to the modded saves folder, preserving progression. Mega Crit stated that these modding improvements will reach the main branch soon.
