Sources speaking to gaming outlets claim a Killzone project is currently in very early production stages. Push Square and VGC report that Guerrilla Games is collaborating with a third-party studio, with strong indications pointing to People Can Fly, the developer behind Bulletstorm and Outriders.
The report comes after a decade during which Guerrilla Games has focused exclusively on the Horizon franchise. People Can Fly is already confirmed to be working on a PS5 game based on a Sony IP, previously unveiled as Project Delta in 2024.
Neither Guerrilla Games nor PlayStation have officially confirmed the project. The information remains at rumor level, with no details about which entry in the series would be remade or the development timeline.
