The partnership between Blizzard and CD Projekt Red, first announced at Gamescom 2026, received its first reveal during BlizzCon 2026 this weekend. The two studios presented a collaboration between Diablo IV and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with first looks at the crossover shown on the event's second day.
According to Nintendo Life, the collaboration represents a significant move between two of the industry's biggest action and RPG franchises. Both titles maintain a strong presence across multiple platforms, including the newly announced Diablo IV version for Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement came as part of Diablo's 30th anniversary celebrations, which also included the official reveal of Diablo V, scheduled for spring 2029. Further details about the collaboration between the two titles are expected to be shared by Blizzard in the coming weeks.
