Star Wars Zero Company, winner of August's Players' Choice on PlayStation Blog, has received its first substantial patch. According to GamesRadar, the 1.1 update addresses approximately 60 issues, including multiple crashes, visual stutters, and performance problems that plagued players since launch.
The patch delivers critical fixes for Beskar mode, the permadeath version where a single save slot exists and the death of key characters ends the run. The update resolves recurring crashes in the mode and a bug that temporarily deleted saves, both problems that undermined the hardcore experience.
Among gameplay adjustments, a notable fix addresses an issue where shots could miss even with 100% chance to hit. As reported by PC Gamer, the problem affected point-blank sure hits, leaving players confused by probability calculations. The patch also improves graphical rendering and optimizes video settings for lower-spec PCs, according to GamesRadar.
Bit Reactor, the developer, listed fixes across customization, databank, and tactical systems in the patch notes. The game, which blends XCOM-style mechanics with the Star Wars universe, has solidified its player base since its previous month release.
