Helldivers 2 receives a Warhammer 40,000 crossover on August 12, according to an announcement from Arrowhead Studios. The Legendary Warbond Castellan's Creed is inspired by the Cadian Kasrkin, elite troops from the Astra Militarum faction in the Warhammer 40K universe.
The warbond will include thematic weapons such as the Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle, Bolt Pistol, and heavy melta weapons including the Meltagun and Meltamine, alongside two Imperial Guard armor sets. According to IGN, Arrowhead described the collaboration as "historic," asking players to "roll the dice to break the traitorous enemies of Super Earth" with these weapons and gear.
The announcement was made during the Warhammer Skulls 10th Anniversary Showcase two months ago, with full details revealed now through a Steam post. The crossover continues Helldivers 2's trend of collaborations, bringing the aesthetic of Warhammer 40K's "grim darkness of the far future" into the game's setting.
