Wuchang: Fallen Feathers sequel officially in development

A sequel to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is officially in development at Indolphinity, a newly founded studio led by creative director Xia Siyuan, with publisher 505 Games backing the project.

The announcement resolves months of uncertainty that began in April when 505 Games' parent company, Digital Bros, acquired full franchise rights for approximately $4.6 million. Prior to that, Siyuan had been fired from original developer Leenzee alongside other team members after reports surfaced that studio leadership pushed staff to pivot away from post-launch support toward outsourced work.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers reached five million players across all platforms since its 2025 launch, establishing itself as a standout soulslike title within the community. The new sequel will be developed under the fresh studio structure while retaining the creative vision that defined the original game.

No release date has been announced for the project.
