Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 06, titled The Haunting, launches September 17, according to official announcements from PlayStation and Xbox. The update brings new maps, game modes, weapons and themed events to both titles.
The standout collaboration features the Doom Slayer as a playable operator. According to IGN, the character will be inspired by Doom: The Dark Ages and arrives September 24 via an event pass. A Doomguy skin based on the original Doom game's appearance will also be available, alongside iconic franchise weapons including the shotgun, crucible blade and BFG.
The Haunting marks the final season of content for Black Ops 7 before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 releases in October. Per Destructoid, this is the most beloved seasonal event among Call of Duty players, with a history of adding horror elements, themed crossovers and playable events.
The update rolls out free across the base platform, with cosmetic content available in both free and paid event pass tiers.
