Beast of Reincarnation, the new action RPG from Game Freak, is now available on PC, Xbox, and Switch. The game puts players in the role of Emma, who embarks on a journey to hunt down mystical creatures called Nushi in a harsh world.
According to Destructoid, the launch rolls out simultaneously worldwide across all platforms. The title had previously been announced to arrive on Xbox Game Pass in July, solidifying its place on Microsoft's subscription service.
In Polygon's hands-on preview, the outlet noted that despite a robust learning curve, there is "great potential for customization and the story being set up" in the game. Previewer Jen Glennon reported being intrigued to keep playing after her initial experience with the title.
Beast of Reincarnation offers a challenging world filled with mythical creatures and deep progression systems. The launch marks Game Freak's return to genres beyond Pokémon.
