Star Wars Zero Company, a turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor, has surpassed 1 million copies sold, according to estimates from industry analyst Alinea Analytics.
According to IGN, 69.9% of sales came from Steam, while 19.9% were on PlayStation and 10.2% on Xbox and Xbox PC. The performance has generated approximately US$ 50 million since the game's launch last month.
The title is developed by former members of the team that created XCOM at Firaxis and features similar turn-based tactics mechanics set in the Star Wars universe. Eurogamer highlights that the success raises questions about whether the development team that had been placed on furlough can now be reinstated and compensated.
