Control Resonant getting infinite New Game Plus and Photo Mode

Remedy Entertainment has announced Control Resonant's post-launch roadmap, detailed in an official blog post for the game. The studio will add an infinite New Game Plus mode in October and a Photo Mode in November, giving players new ways to engage with the game's surreal environments.

According to Remedy, the Photo Mode was developed in consultation with community virtual photographers to ensure the best possible quality. The infinite New Game Plus, referred to as "New Game Plus Plus," will allow players to replay the game as many times as they want while retaining their progression.

The game launched on September 24th and already received a day-one hotfix addressing combat difficulty feedback. There is no mention of story expansions in the announced plans, distinguishing this roadmap from previous Remedy titles that received narrative DLC.

The developer's responsive approach to early difficulty concerns now extends to these post-launch additions, bringing the community-requested tools and extended gameplay modes players have been anticipating.
