Pro Jank Footy, arcade Australian football game, launches August 12 on PS5

According to the PlayStation Blog, Pro Jank Footy will launch on August 12 on PS5. The game reimagines the rules of Australian Rules Football, a popular Australian sport played between two teams of 18 players competing for the ball on a cricket oval and scoring goals by kicking the ball between two giant posts.

The title takes a chaotic, arcade approach to the sport, deconstructing its traditional rules to create a gameplay experience beyond conventional simulation.

The launch is currently exclusive to PS5, with no confirmation of releases on other platforms.
