The official date is set: The Wolf Among Us Remastered arrives October 29 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The game is a reworked version of Telltale's original 2013 choice-driven adventure, following Bigby Wolf as he investigates mysteries in Fabletown.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the remastering aimed to honor Telltale's legacy with a respectful update of the classic. Matt Saia, game director and VP of Creative at Telltale, noted that the team avoided changing the core elements that made the original meaningful to fans, preserving the story, the contrast of fairy tale characters set in the 1980s, and the neon noir aesthetic that defined the experience.
The remaster arrives nearly a decade after the original game's launch, which became one of Telltale's most beloved titles. The enhanced version comes alongside ongoing development of The Wolf Among Us 2, the sequel currently in the works.
