Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the conclusion of the remake trilogy, arrives on April 8, 2027 in a simultaneous launch across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch 2, per Nintendo Life. The game brings the story that began with the 2020 remake to a close.
In hands-on previews, the game impressed with its scale. According to GamesRadar, Revelation is "overwhelmingly enormous" compared to Rebirth. Director Naoki Hamaguchi told GamesRadar the game contains "even more content" than Rebirth, but stressed that all the additional content is "all good stuff" and that the team wanted to give players "the choice" in what to explore.
The PS5 physical edition will require a partial download, unlike Rebirth. Hamaguchi explained to IGN that this decision was made to avoid making "compromises" on game quality. The title will also not feature the "Streamlined Progression" options (in-game cheats) at launch, per Push Square, but they will arrive post-release.
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion arrived on Switch 2 as a surprise during the latest Nintendo Direct, now available with a launch discount priced at $34.99 instead of $49.99, according to Nintendo Life.
