Stellar Blade: Complete Edition on Switch 2 gets frame generation toggle

Stellar Blade: Complete Edition, Shift Up's action port for Switch 2, will include a toggle to enable or disable frame generation, a technology that improves visual fluidity during gameplay, according to Nintendo Life.

Frame generation is an experimental feature that some Switch 2 releases are adopting to reach 60fps at higher resolutions. Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen also uses the technique, with a toggle option added after community feedback.

In Stellar Blade, frame generation was mandatory during the demo build. The new toggle represents a shift in approach, giving players the choice to use the technology or disable it based on their preference.

The Complete Edition includes the full game with all content released since the original launch in 2024, delivered directly on Switch 2 cartridge.
