Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Brings Back Campaign Early Access One Week Before Launch

June 15, 2026 · 1 min read · Notering

Activision has revived a perk that defined recent Call of Duty launches: early access to the single-player campaign for those who pre-order Modern Warfare 4. According to Infinity Ward, pre-purchasers will be able to play the campaign from October 16, 2026, a full week before the official launch on October 23.

The practice was previously offered with Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 as an incentive to drive pre-order sales. With Modern Warfare 4, the studio continues this approach, letting players dive into the Korean Peninsula-set story ahead of the game's full release to retail.

The title will launch across multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
