Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launches today with known PC issues

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls officially launches today on PS5 and PC. According to GameSpot, Arc System Works has rolled out a day-one update to address performance issues that primarily plagued the PC version during the open beta, as reported by Push Square.

Problems encountered during testing disproportionately affected PC players, while the PS5 version maintained greater stability. The developer committed to resolving issues flagged by the community, and the launch-day patch reflects that promise.

The game's multiplayer servers are now live according to a schedule released by the developer. In the US, servers open at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET); in the UK, at 4 PM BST; and in Europe, at 5 PM CEST. Push Square notes that the Platinum trophy does not present significant difficulty, keeping the game accessible to casual players.

The title marks the return of a multiplatform Marvel fighting game since Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. As noted by Polygon, the game carries the pressure of living up to the legacy of the original series, which carved out an important place in the fighting game genre over decades.
