Fate/Extra Record is launching on January 28, 2027 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 worldwide, according to an announcement made during the State of Play Japan presentation in September 2026, as confirmed by the PlayStation Blog.
The game is a remake of the original PSP JRPG developed by Type-Moon. Players will create an avatar and fight in the Holy Grail War alongside Servants including Saber, Archer, and Caster, competing within the Moon Cell Automaton for a wish.
Aniplex has taken over publishing duties, with Marvelous and XSEED handling distribution in the United States. A new trailer showcased during the announcement featured combat gameplay and story teasers.
