Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 arrive on PlayStation in July

Confirmed: the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 games are coming to PlayStation, Treyarch announced on X. The titles will arrive in July with all three original modes intact: campaign, Zombies, and multiplayer.

These will be ports, not remasters. According to Activision, this means players will get the classic versions faithfully preserved, but without graphical or gameplay updates.

This is an unusual move from the publisher, bringing back two of the most memorable chapters in the series for PlayStation players. The last time these titles were available on Sony consoles was in previous generations.
