Resident Evil Requiem exceeds $500 million in sales

Resident Evil Requiem has surpassed $500 million in global revenue since its February 2026 release, according to estimates from Alinea Analytics reported by Destructoid. The title has outpaced every other game in the franchise's history, though the Zach Cregger film adaptation did not have as significant an impact on sales as Capcom's price reductions.

According to Alinea Analytics, platform distribution shows 8.6% of copies sold on Xbox, with the remaining 91.4% split between PlayStation 5 and Steam. The game's consistent performance underscores Capcom's strong 2026, which also included releases of Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

Resident Evil Requiem also earned nominations for the 2026 Golden Joystick Awards in categories including Best Trailer, Console Game of the Year, and Best Supporting Performer for Angela Sant'Albano's role as Grace Ashcroft.
